The Day the World Mourned
Known as "Ote Kevlad ote Etmenet ðí-Dosvarnye" In Raxarian.
The Day the World Mourned is the name of the day the Void finally left and ended the War for Adremesis in 2273 BFB. The day was named as such as once the Void left and the Raxarians could finally rest and look around them, all they saw was death and destruction. Before, there had been no time to properly tribute those who fell, but now that they were free of the horrendous conflict, they could finally mourn for the lost.
The Raxarians built a monument upon Mt. Líflátlæ in their honour. In some astronomical miracle, despite the calamities of the War of the Dragon Lords, the statue remained unharmed even though the volcano was at its peak activity.
The statue remains there to this day, even though it how now unfortunately fallen testament to the scourge of time. Every year on the Day the World Mourned, many Raxarians travel to the volcano and sing a song in commemoration of those that fell during the war all those years ago. Some of the major Raxarians that involve themselves in this event are Valerik and Osovíx.
