Gemstones of the Sages

Zysargia infused the power of each Sage into a separate gemstone upon their creation, so the souls of the sages recombine with that power upon their death and thus become a part of the gemstone, by this method, the soul of every Sage to have ever lived resides in the stones.

Manufacturing process

Zysargia was able to channel the Sages' power and manifest it in a physical form, each stone reflecting the characteristics of the Sage that the power once belonged to.

History

The Stones were created to store the Sages' power in 559 BFB as a failsafe to prevent the return of the Lord of Chaos and for a power source for the Sages should the time ever come to do battle with the Lord once more. The stones were bestowed to the Guardian Protectorate who used them to reinforce the seal that shackles the Lord to the void.  The stones were acquired by the Lord upon his return who used them to corrupt individuals to become Anarchs by tempting them with the power of the stones, a power so great that it granted the Anarchs their deepest desires, and caused them great despair in the process.

Significance

The stones have been responsible for sustaining the souls of the Sages to ensure that Lord of Chaos is unable to return to Adremesis whilst the Sages still lived. Though they were ironically acquired by the Lord of Chaos who used them to create the Anarchs to hold dominion over Adremesis.
