Sir Clever-Daggers (a.k.a. Clef)
The story of the Tabaxi named Clever-Daggers spans not generations, but universes... The cat additionally known as Clef was said to come from a land not of our realm. A land called Avalon. In this strange world he claims to have operated as a dealer and a fence of strange antiquities and goods, sworn to collect all he could get his paws on. Such curiosity led him to a box containing a goddess of mischief, Jinx. Jinx enlisted Clef in a quest to regain a powerful artifact of the gods, causing the Tabaxi to embark on a long quest to reclaim the fragments. Along the way, he encountered many strange things and claims to have been sent forward in time after aiding a lich in overthrowing the corrupted king. The man who replaced him, one of Clef's allies, betrayed him and cast him through time before obtaining godlike powers. Afterward, he would go forward to obtain many relics in his quest for revenge but ended up surrounded by the Avalon guards. During a long ambush, he was allegedly rescued by the Blue Knights and was accepted into their order before he ended up in Adref. The lost Tabaxi would spend his time wandering the lands of Ruusolm and Craggenfall before settling down in Arcadia. He occasionally takes tips of new artifacts but spends most of his days maintaining Black Cat Alley in Dynbach. Few believe his story, but the legend is still whispered from Belheim to Wulforne."Clever-Daggers is a black Tabaxi with a history as a black market fence. Clever-Daggers is known to be an expert tinkerer and employs Artifice magic through a magical gauntlet device along with his criminal technique. He is extremely stealthy, agile, and cunning and is known to be a suave talker and con artist. He is also known to use various forms of poison along with a sharp obsidian dagger and a diamond-studded silver rapier. While his origins are unknown, he claims to be from another world from an unknown Kingdom called Avalon. He also claims affiliation with the Knights of the Blue Moon.
