Though the identities of the Nine may have been lost to time, their Arcane Marks are forever etched into the annals of history. The flame bearer’s marks are nearly as iconic as the very schools of magic themselves. Each member of the Nine has two Arcane Marks: a short symbol, and a long symbol. Short symbols are used for menial and daily tasks, while long symbols serve as heraldic brands left in their wake.

Short Symbol: A wall of roaring flames
Long Symbol: A gaudy silhouette of a man sits upon a throne beyond the veil of flame, his legs crossed comfortably atop the back of a person prostrating themself. The man on the throne twirls a broken crown around his index finger, unphased and at ease within the roaring fire.
