Ghild, King of the Road
I am Ghild, King of the Road and I demand tribute! I require one gold piece!
Ghild is a crazy, friendly kobold who believes he is king of every road everywhere. He is generally prone to be full of unrestrained enthusiasm, but can also speak with authority and royalty whenever he is on the road, his kingdom. He is always exploring its full extent, going wherever the road takes him.
Kobolds are considered monsters by most people, as they come from the Halls of Alabaster. Thus, Ghild has not been treated well by most people above ground. This has led him to hold fast to his royalty even if it goes unacknowledged by most. Ghild has seemingly forgotten his past from before he was a king, and lives pretty much full-time in his king persona. But from the momentary look of shame he gives whenever it’s mentioned, you can tell he really knows his past. He just fears sharing it.
Wherever the road leads, there you are likely to find Ghild with mirth and joy as his eternal companions.
