Fruits of Somdall

As a worshiper of Somdall, you tap into the bounty of nature and all living things. Somdall’s patience is deep, but those who anger him should beware.

Nature's Bounty. You can cast Goodberry once per day without expending a spell slot. You must complete a long rest before you can cast it again in this way. Additionally, you gain a permanent Speak with Animals ability and can communicate with any animal in Adranon. This enhancement reflects Somdall's trust in you as a steward of nature.

Explosive Harvest. Once per day, you can transform the fruits from a single casting of Goodberry into deadly projectiles. As an action, you can throw a number of fruits up to your Proficiency Bonus to a point within 60 feet. Each fruit detonates upon impact, dealing 2d4 bludgeoning damage in a 15-foot radius. Creatures in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC based on your Spellcasting DC or Wisdom modifier, whichever is higher) to take half damage. If you throw two or more fruits, they must target the same spot. For example, at level 9, you could throw 4 fruits for 8d4 damage and retain 6 fruits to use later.
