Aasimar
Belonging to the group of humanoid beings known as the planetouched, aasimars have an irrevocable connection to the Upper Planes. An aasimar’s ancestry can always be traced back to some ancestor hailing from the Upper Planes, or to a mortal gifted celestial powers.
Physical Description
Aasimars look similar to humans, with softly glowing eyes. Their eyes are always their most distinguishing feature, as they are a solid color, no iris or cornea visible. Between the aasimar subraces, some other physical differences can be seen such as colorful hair, or metallic looking skin. An archonite might stand over 7 ft tall, but a Devonai can easily be as short as 4½ feet, making their height have a wide variance.
Personalities
Most Aasimar have a strong sense of duty, this compulsion tends to polarize them, regardless of their moral alignment. Aasimars are known for their zeal and charisma, often helping them achieve positions of power or respect. Although it is safe to say most aasimar tend towards good alignments, there have been many aasimar driven to evil by their compulsions under the guise of self righteousness. Some say the only match for a dwarf’s obstinance is an aasimars bullheadedness. Trying to sway an aasimar who thinks they have moral or ethical superiority is like trying to move a mountain.
In the World
Aasimars are fairly rare, and concentrated almost completely in Ruberia, Satinesia, and Meahcon where the cultures are more connected to the Upper Planes by their primary religions.

They do not lose hit points when they gain a negative level, and they gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against death effects, energy drain, negative energy, and spells or spell-like abilities of the necromancy school.

- Lesser Truespeak: Devonai have a lesser form of the celestial truespeak their angelic predecessors held. They gain a +2 racial bonus on Linguistics and Sense Motive checks, and they learn two languages each time they gain a rank in Linguistics.
- Clarion Call (Sp): Devonai aasimar with 10 or more charisma gain the ability to cast Clarion Call once per day. The caster level for this effect is equal to the aasimar’s number of hit dice. If a devonai gains levels in a spellcasting class, they may add Clarion Call to their list of spells known.
- Indomitable Soul: Azati’s internal drive manifests itself as a need for both mental and physical freedom. They gain a +4 racial bonus on Escape Artist checks and have +2 racial bonus to their CMD vs Grapple attempts.
- Invigorated Bodies: Almost as if caught in a constant state of mania, Azatis have a unique ability to ignore minor pains, whether from travel fatigue or falling down. Whenever they would take nonlethal damage from a physical source or from exertion, they can ignore the first 5 points of damage (DR 5/lethal). In this case, a physical source is defined as something tangible such as a blow from a sap, or falling, but not damage from freezing, suffocation, hunger, etc.
Senses Racial Traits
Archonite Aasimar
Archonites are born with the blood of archons, the celestial enforcers of order. Amoung the differing types of aasimars, archonites have the strongest sense of duty and honor. The natural charisma of an aasimar often comes off as intimidating in an archonite. Physically, archonites can be distinguished by their stature, having a large frame and heavier build. Most archonites have a slight sheen to their skin, making it look slightly metallic and have blue eyes.
Additional Racial Traits
Devonai
Having the blood of a truespeaking angel in their ancestry, devonai aasimars have an innate talent for understanding others, letting them learn languages easily and intuit others feelings and thoughts. Visually, devonais are differentiated from other aasimar by their pale golden eye colors and slighter frames.
Additional Racial Traits
Azati Aasimar
