“What is it like living life as a bear?” A young town crier once asked me, writing a tell-all about the giants of the independent toy industry.

“Unbearable!” Is what I would have said if words hadn’t forsaken me in that moment.

“What is it like living like as a human?” Is what I would have said if I didn’t have any manners. The poor kid was just trying to do their job, but what kind of question is that?

Probably just a quick way to reveal to their readers that I’m a bear. A seven foot tall, brown and furry faced beast, with kind eyes and giant paws. I own a very successful business making wooden bears and selling handmade clothing for them called Build-a-Bear with my wife. Might as well include that I have three kids, Maryland, Rick, and Flick, who are my entire world. What a cheap way to provide context for the readers! Get creative town crier!
