Gestault Valley
Located at the southernmost border of the country of Chron, Gestault Valley is the most fertile area of land in its possession. Throughout it lies miles and miles full of fruitful farmland due to its proximity to the tropical country of Virva and the river delta of Ivalin. It's also known for its breathtaking views of the Eira Mountains in the distance and its picturesque, quaint farming villages that are slowly becoming all the rage for the Chronan aristocracy to build summer "cottages" (for those who prefer the countryside to the seaside) in. One said farming village is that of Gearen Village, a charming settlement known for its lush produce, easygoing style, and annual autorriage (automatic carriage) races.
Geography
The valley has a variety of geographic features ranging from the rolling, green plains that have been used as farmland for centuries to grassy hills, caves and picturesque views of the Eira Mountains range in the distance. In addition there are numerous small, freshwater ponds, bogs, and lakes along with the winding Ivalin River.
Fauna & Flora
Gestault Valley is home to a variety of plants and animals; both wild and domesticated. In terms of wild plants the valley has wildflowers, grass, caittails, dandelions, and some wild varieties of apples, grapes, and berries. For domesticated plants the valley offers many different types of crops such as: corn, potatoes, tomatoes, grapes, apples, oranges, pears, cucumbers, rhubarb, wheat, hops, tobacco, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, pomegranates, cranberries, tulips, roses (including the variation which is the Chronan national flower: The Red Queen's Heart), sunflowers, Dead Man's Eye (a type of small, round fruit), and many more. Though some more unscrupulous farmers may also try and grow their own Vizion Berry, a highly illegal hallucinogenic fruit that some say can cause an even greater high than the infamous Amrita drink and if taken in the right dose could show you the future.
In terms of animals you have the standard squirrels, satyrs (sheep/goat creature), fish, game birds (such as pheasants and pigeons), feral dogs, aquafirs (a cat-like aquatic creature typically associated with Aoidean)s, and some wild "Hellions" (aka monsters/pests such as slimes, salamanders, spyders, giant rats, and wolves). In addition to these there are also domesticated dogs, aquafirs, satyrs, cockatrices, horses, and manavines (aquatic cow-like creature).
