The Great Purge

Not far into the third age Diconom Rex went insane temporarily. Gathering all his power he stopped the effect of gravity for large portions of Adatia. In accordance with the Treaty of Arlen he was banished to the Temere Wastes, where he was not permitted to leave until permitted by Avelana Roseheart.

When Avelana Roseheart woke up one day her world had changed. Just the previous days she had traveled from city to city, healing those affected by the plague. Now so many where gone. Her friends, her fellow paladins, her fiancé. They were all gone.   Enraged she flew to her brother’s realm and confronted him. He just watched her with sorrowful eyes as she attacked him, overcome with rage. Again and again she tries to strike her brother but his quick teleportation keeps him out of her grasp as he hits her with painful spells again and again. As the other Avatars arrive his final spell ignites, showering them with lightning. The other Avatars pull themselves together and prepare for a fight, but Diconom Rex simply surrenders.   Surprised Avelana Roseheart begins a special spell. Through the Treaty of Arlen they bound him to his realm. He would not be able to leave until the main accuser, Avelana Roseheart , removed the curse.
