Personal history
Born Elisabet Alis Jacquemin Tourneur, the second child and only daughter of Count Guieffroy and Countess Taffania Tourneur. She grew up an educated and privileged young lady of House Tourneur, which governed the county Lilême (which shares a border with the city-state of Pacivele south of Meloir). Elisabet was an adventurous child, constantly seeking adventure in the town of Sadoul near her family's estate. She developed a penchant for swordplay when playing with the commoner children of the town, wielding wooden toy swords and sticks. As she grew older, she substituted make-believe play with formal training and combined it with a newfound interest in invocation magic that was taught by a magister of the Violet College.
During her adolescence, Elisabet's father, Count Guieffroy, received many bachelor callers among the aristocracy that asked for his daughter's hand in marriage. Yet, Elisabet was hardly interested in any of them, let alone the idea of remaining "a lady" in the peerage. Her heart was set on more noble aims, so she asked her father for his blessing to join a Templar brotherhood. Seeing a bright ambition in his daughter that he believed he lacked in his own childhood, Guieffroy allowed Elisabet to join, even though it meant she had to renounce her status as a noble and give up any claim to titles and lands.
Elisabet joined the Templar Brotherhood of Semyaza, headquartered in Melís. Entering as an Apprenti (Apprentice), Elisabet honed her natural martial skill under the auspices of her mentor, Ser Gilot Blaise. Gilot was born a commoner, so he and Elisabet shared few interests and even fewer experiences. Still, Gilot's stern demeanor and dedication to his oath as a knight obliged him to have patience with a young woman that, in his words, "was raised with a silver spoon in her mouth." Eventually, Elisabet came to greatly admire her mentor and strengthened her empathy for others through his example of outreach and servitude to those in need.
The Templars refashioned the young firebrand highborn of House Tourneur into a knight they were proud to call a sister. She made her secret oath to Semyaza in the year 4 B.A, when she was 14 (21 Sol), and donned the white cloak of a Templar. As an Élève (Pupil), she embarked on her first mission alone as a test to become a full-fledged knight.

A capable Templari Cheval (Templar Knight). She is a sister of the Meloir chapter of the Templar Brotherhood of Semyaza based in Melís.
