Poimen the Brave

The legends of Poimen is an old and very popular legend on Ciello. Stories of Poimen were written down during the Imperium, and were likely told orally long before then.

Summary

There are many stories about Poimen, and most of the stories appear in many different versions. New stories often get invented, since Poimen is a popularly used by playwrites and bards as a generic "hero character". 
The most well known and repeated stories of Poimen are: 
Poimen and the Trial of Eritha: Poimen must stand up to his friends and elders when the priestess Eritha is accused of a crime she didn't commit. 
Poimen and the Long Night: Poimen is offered the hand of a handsome prince, if he will only stay a single night in the Ruins of Hommark
Poimen and the Wolf: Poimen is called on by the king of Qundar to hunt the Dread Wolf.
Poimen is often interpreted differently in the various stories he features in, and individual storytellers often put their own spin on the character. However, Poimen always has certain key traits; he was a shepherd in his youth, he is curious, and most of all he is brave to the point of recklessness.
