Lightless Moon

The Lightless Moon is a a religious group which worship the goddess Vudea, the goddess of murder. The group consists of only females. The head of the group is known as the darkness mother. The darkness mother speaks to Vudea in order to pass on her will.
Within the order, is a group of female assassins known as the daughters of the night. The elite assassins carry out the orders of the mother. These elite assassins harness the power of sword and spell in order to carryout their attacks. They draw their power from the Shadowfell, a mirror plane to the material plane. They are rumored to travel through the shadowfell and appearing in the material plane only to take out their target before they jump back into the shadow plane.
A vengeful soul may pray to Vudea to carry out the murder of any being. In order for the prayer to be granted, the seeker must make a ritualistic sacrifice. The sacrifice of an innocent life. Once completed, the organization will take care of the rest.
Vudea sees great joy in more souls entering the darkness of murder. Often, the daughters of the night will negotiate a deal with other parties to carry out the murder. This in turn, brings more into the darkness.
The blood contract for the murder is only completed with the loss of life of the target or the requestor. There is no time frame for the contract to be completed. Vudea enjoys the torment of both the target and requestor as they await certain death.
