Heist of Survivors Report
General Summary
The party continued the adventure to rescue the prisoners of The Rat Pack. One prisoner stood out of the bunch; a taller than average Dwarf, Graivis Prax . Graivis, a captured member of Mangy Few, appeared to be eager to return to fight and end the Rat King's reign.
But first, the party decided to return the captives back to the camp and Otto. A group of rats were able to catch the party and attempted to stop the escape, but was unsuccessful. One rat managed to escape the killing blows of the party. Otto and several of the survivors were grateful for the return of lost friends. After a careful discussion, the party agreed to continue deeper into the sewer to rescue additional captives and kill the rat king with the assistance of Graivis. There was not much time for too much rest, but the party was offered warm food and three healing potions.
Continuing deeper into the Sewer past the executioners stage, the party continued to the right where they came across two doors, choosing the one on the left. The door led into a large room with three leavers and three doors. The party was able open the additional doors and for some reason raise and lower water within the room.
The door to the left of the entrance led to barred and chained wooden door. The door was enscribed with crude drawings showing some sort of rat covered in worms and dead rats. There was a large X-across the doorway, believed to warn people from entering. The party decided to enter. The doorway led to a hallway which was caved in. A small hole through the cave in showed blackness on the other side and several feet of debris. The party decided to try the other door.
After entering the other door, the party reached a T intersection and continued to the right where they observed three robed rats chanting, ringing bells, and lighting the hallways with a torch. The party attempted to sneak up on the distracted rats, but clumsily clanked their way in their heavy armor. After a short battle, the party successfully eliminated the rats.
Continued down the sewer path, the party approached a large room lit up by candles and sconces. Seated to the rear of the room was a huge rat wearing a flowing robe, a large gold adorned headdress, and a golden scepter.
