Going Back Down Report
General Summary
To whomever may read this.
As I have traveled with this group of men who can never seem to agree on anything; I am quite intrigued by them. Though I met these men who helped me on my quest to defeat the Necromancer, I have felt disdained. I chose to continue with them on their quest, though I often do not understand the intentions. Constantly we find ourselves in situations where I have almost been slain; but I have been saved many times by these men I am starting to consider my companions. They will make excellent friends once they pass on to the next life.
We found ourselves lost in the tunnels underneath the city. The tunnels lead in many directions as we consistently chose the wrong path. While traveling the tunnels, we encountered a young Drow boy. It did not make sense as to why the boy was in the tunnels, but there was no time for an investigation. From a distance we could hear what sounded like a loud clap. The sound became much louder as if something was coming towards us. Out of the darkness two monsters appeared; and it became clear what the sound was. Two monsters with giant pincers on their face. We began to fight these monsters, but soon realized we were no match for these powerful beasts. As much as I would have enjoyed seeing my companions slain, so I could reanimate them to become my obedient friends; we collectively made the decision to flee. As we fled, the beasts followed us. Eventually, we were able to get back to the entrance of the tunnels. We barely made it out alive.

*note of the omniscient - Prior to the sprawling networks of caves, the party encountered an out of place shipwreck within a flooded cavern. While slaying the skeletal pirate captain and his crew, the blast of fireball caught the ship on fire leading to the explosion of numerous powder kegs. The massive explosion destroyed the ship, the crew, and nearly the party. Completely scathed, the party walked away with a Ring of Water walking.
