The celebration of summer

Summer holds a deep meaning in the hearts of every cadmeian.After 2 centuries of ice and snow they finally get to see the bright lights of The angels eye,the dragons eye and the wolf’s eye.The preparations for the summer festivals are taken decades before summer even starts.It is the season of warmth and life for cadmeians.Life is renewed and cadmeians enjoy the warmth that so many of them want.

History

When cadmeia was first colonised by the humans in 2200,the planet was just transitioning into the winter season.The humans enjoyed a brief period of warmth before the long winter came.Summer evolved into a mythical tale for cadmeians as they thought that they would never see the sun again.Then in the year 2400Ad for the first time in two centuries the cadmeians saw the warmth of the three stars. It was like heaven to the cadmeians. Immediately the world erupted into festivals of happiness and everyone drank their ales and made fun and basked in the glory of the summer.They Swam in the oceans and felt warm natural water touch their skin for the first time in decades.It was then decided by the federation that every time summer came a festival would be held in which the cadmeians take part in summer sports as well as spend some off time.to this day it has been only seen 2 times excluding the first summer.

Components and tools

Summer festivals are usually celebrated with warm ale and food.The food can range from the phantomhurst plant which is only found in the phantomhurst mountains to the meat of jotuns and minotaurs.Besides this many summer sports are done too like surfing and tennis.In addition to this many lands of the northern and southern parts can be explored in this time like the northern ice bound coast of Sidonia as the ice melts and mixes with the water of the Fimbulus ocean.The eastern and western continents are mostly submerged as they ar owlands while only the coast of sidonia is partially submerged.There are also special hunting challenges for hunting the animals that come out In summer like the fire satyrs and fire minotaurs..In addition the rare ghostcrawler worm also is a special target of hunters due to its rarity and many young hunters band together in the hopes of hunting a ghostcrawler for themselvs
