The Ring

The Ring is the most powerful organization in Acrine. While the kingdoms tend to make diplomatic peace and trade relations with neighboring nations, the rulers of such kingdoms tend keep to themselves. However, on an issue or topic of conversation of natural law or widespread panic, "The Ring initiates a secret process in which elusive and powerful people can make decisions to change the course of the world forever. The Ring members are very rarely made public, and when they partake in meetings it is shrouded in even more mystery." Which was the traditional formation of the organization, however after the Commoner's Rebellion, positions on The Ring became public and elected positions in an attempt to dissuade mass corruption that once plagued the leaders.
