The Black Gold Trading Company

The Black Gold Trading Company is one of many groups to thank in the revitalization of Travland after the unification of humanity. If they didn't propose the idea of using caravans to reignite trade and help find new and faster routes, the different provinces would probably still be squabbling. Which came in handy during the Orange Fever when they helped to found a new road from the east through Steamer instead of going through the high infected zones between Travland and Yterius.

Structure

The company has a number of traders and merchants working for them across Takira and at the head of it all is Albion Rinzler. It used to be a three-man leadership between himself, his wife, and his best friend but unfortunately, circumstances left it to where it is only him.

History

Founded in 1485 SF by Albion Rinzler, Kara Rinzler, and Clouds on the Horizon. The three of them saw the situation Travland was in and knew they could make plenty of money by offering to help restart trade throughout the region. Given leave to do so by Emperor William, the three purchased several carts and tons of goods before traveling through traveling, taking both main roads and lesser known paths that could cut down trade. This helped reinvent the infrastructure of Travland internally and even beyond, propelling the Company to new heights.

As of the summer of 1500 SF, Albion is the last owner of the still booming company. His wife, Kara, died to the Orange Fever in the previous year, and unreconcilable differences between him and Clouds on the Horizon caused the latter to leave the company.
