Oolo

Oolo is the wisest of the Nidum. Thus he serves as the master of knowledge and guides those on their search for a greater understanding of the world. Under Oolo's wing Beasts have made great discoveries in all fields of study. It is his wisdom that has placed him in a high standing of trust with Tomium. Tomium often turns to Oolo for insight and counsel. The level of trust that Tomium has for Oolo is so high, that when Tomium leaves his thrown at night to rest Oolo sits in his place. It is believed the moon in the sky is Oolo's wise eye watching over Acidenlay.

The face of Oolo is said to be very round and white like the moon itself. With two black eyes watching from its center. Over the rest of his body are feathers of various hues and tons of white, oranges, and browns. Giving him a unique coloration compared to the other Nidum. He is also shorter than most of his other male Nidum counterparts. Do not take him for weak though, as there is power in knowledge. His beak and talons are said to be just as sharp as his mind.

It is said that in the shade of night, when the other Nidum is asleep, Gorget comes to Oolo for his teachings. Though she can not talk on her own anymore, she has been able to create a form of speech stringing together words that Oolo has said to her. The two fell in love during these teachings and had a daughter, Gestalt. Gestalt is considered a Nidum Minor, and stories of her are warnings of foolish pride. Too much knowledge or beauty can lead to pride, but when the best of those traits are properly used great things can come from them.
