Nidi
Nidi is the smallest of the Nidum in size. She loves the world of Acidenlay and is said to spend the most time flying in it. As if to check on the land and ensure that it is cared for. It is said that Nidi punishes those that do wrong to nature. After the long sleep, it is said that Nidi's song awakens nature, and brings it back to life once again. Many songs dedicated to Nidi are sung as lullabies as their lyrics tell of the beauty of life and new beginnings. Over the years her role in bringing new life into nature has made her a symbol of birth and new life of children born into the world. Nurseries are often decorated with her symbols.
Nidi has many children who are considered Nidum Minor. Nature is so vast they serve under her as protectors of specific aspects of nature such as crops, forests, meadows, mountains, rivers, and weather. Nidi is not married to any other members of the Nidum but has had children with Pistivo, Calami, and even Tomium. Her child Tomium is the brightest and strongest of the children and is said to fly in the sky during the day. Her children of Piscivo watch over the rivers and lakes of Acidenlay. Calami's children with Nidi see to the winds, clouds, and rains. Despite the vast number of children Nidi has, she loves them all equally and protects them viciously.
