The Sheolian (SHEE-ohl-e-ən)

In the earliest days of humanity, some tribes worshipped the Grigori that will become the Nephilim. Marked physically and culturally by their forebear's choice to side with the Nephilim, the Sheolian use cunning, persuasion, and humanity's own weaknesses to further their position within the rigid meritocracy their society demands.

Appearance

Sheolians can resemble humans, but often show telltale signs of their ancestors' alliegiance to the Nephilim. While no two Sheolians look alike, general giveaways are: crimson-colored eyes, horns, tail, and black wings. It is said that their form is influenced by which Prince of Sheol they serve, or which virtue they take. Their skin is often in a red to purple hue, and their teeth tend to be carnivorous exclusively.

Note: Sheolian is both singular and plural. Sheolians is incorrect.
