A life without good food is no life at all. Over the years, you've honed your magic into creating the most divine meals from the most mundane of ingredients. Some claim skill in your work, but they never measure up to the power of a true kitchen witch. Your cauldron is always cooking up something tasty to revitalize and reaffirm that life is indeed worth living, if for only another morsel.
Fighting on One’s Stomach
A good meal can remind someone of home, bring comfort, and restore vitality. Much more so when packed with an anima kick. In fact, the most renown chefs can even reverse the effects of Nergal’s Rot, reducing corruption through food and drink alone. This talent means a Council Quest is rarely successful without a chef on the team.
Each biome is unique, with diverse life. So, each chef must go in search of edible plants and game. Along the way, when speaking to locals, they often acquire new recipes while sharing. Taking it back to their kitchen, they learn to infuse the meal with their magicks, taking from their gardens and livestock pens what ingredients they need (buying from others and the Exchange what they don’t produce themselves).
