Mount Forge Protection Force

The Mount Forge Protection Force is an elite wing of the LavaNord Military Forces, dedicated to protecting the center of the LavaNord Kingdom’s economy, Mount Forge. The forge keeps running day and night, and stores various valuable items, and their job is to keep the forge safe and running with ease.

Composition

Manpower

The Force has around 3000 men/women and 2000 robots currently in service.

Equipment

The Force has various equipment in use, including weapons, vehicles and armor. They are provided with the best of the best.

Weaponry

The Force consists of the robots, who use the more mechanical weapons, including air forces and the people, who use melee weapons charged with magic. Some melee weapons used include javelins and bows (artillery division), spears and swords (which are used by ground forces and cavalry).

Vehicles

The robots and the cavalry can move about by themselves at a fast speed. Various vehicles may be used, like cars, buses and planes are used to drop people and robots to where they’re needed on the mountain.

Structure

The Force is headed by the Supreme Commander of the Force, who is helped by the LavaNord Logistics and Tactics Division. The Force itself is divided into the robots and people. The robots are controlled by the Robots Head Control. People and robots come under three divisions- Cavalry Division, Artillery & Air Forces and Ground Forces, each headed by a Division Commander. People are divided, in order of increasing command level, into Soldier, Major, Sergeant and Corporal.

Tactics

The Force uses various tactics to neutralize threats or hold them back. These tactics and strategies are made by the Supreme Commander and Division Commanders, helped by the LavaNord Logistics and Tactics Division.

Training

After recruitment, the person goes under two years of tactical and strength training at the LavaNord Military Academy. They are quite exceptional in the field. Also, various exercises are also conducted when in the Force.

Logistical Support

The LavaNord Logistics and Tactics Division helps in the making of decisions and in strategy-planning.

Auxilia

The Force is backed up by the LavaNord Military Forces, LavaNord Naval Forces (but not mostly, since Mount Forge is inland) and the LavaNord Air Forces. The main objective of this Force is to completely neutralize small threats and, if the threat is too large to overcome, to hold the lines till the backup arrives.

Upkeep

A lot of money is spent on the upkeep of this Force. Mount Forge is the centre of the LavaNord Kingdom’s economy, and its protection is given utmost importance. A budget of 40000 Obsidian Bimities is given to keep the equipment up to date, for salaries and to maintain the troops.

Recruitment

Recruitment is done by the basis of a test, called Mount Forge Military Test (MFMT for short). The best in the test, based on intelligence, strength and loyalty are recruited. The number of people being recruited is based on need. Then, the recruits have to go under two years of additional training at the LavaNord Military Academy.

History

Historical loyalties

The Force is extremely loyal to the LavaNord Kingdom, and its king. Till now, there have been no incidents of disloyalty in the force itself.
