Aboard the Inunne

This is a story about a kobold technician freshly aboard a new ship, excited and slightly nervous about the many possibilities before him now. The other crewmembers are busy with their own tasks, and he has yet to meet everyone - and also to find his place here. To make matters more complicated, he quickly learns that the vessel they are on is facing struggles from some kind of ship-focused virus or attack, which eats away at the engines and could become a huge problem if he doesn't figure out how to stop it.   Will Ikota find his place in this ship full of misfits and oddities, or will he be set free to drift again among the stars, searching for the place he belongs? Will their beloved ship the Inunne be able to make it through the struggles its facing, or will they be forced to eventually abandon it to save themselves?   This story is ongoing, and its ending hasn't been discovered yet... but isn't the charm in the journey to get there, anyway?
