Kin-Un
One of the major island of the Broken Bridge, this island is most notable for its bears and the role they play in society here. The majority of the population here humans, who have a unique culture that holds itself somewhat apart from the majority of society in the Bridge.
Bears here are venerated as hosts of ancestral spirits, and every family includes at least one bear, who are treated as equal members of the family.
This culture is known as the Ursu people, and their settlements are usually small and self sufficient, trading only for essentials and having a deep connection to spirits. Witches, druids, Paladins of the Ancients are common in these communities.
The ruler of Kin Un is the Daimo called The Name Giver, a witch who lives reclused in the forests deep in the heart of the island. She has ruled as such for many decades.

Kin Un is a densely forested island on the edge of the Broken Bridge, with numerous mountains and steep cliffs.

History
During the brief unification of the Broken Bridge in the Age of Storm, Kin Un was alone among the islands to never send a deligation or seek representation from the King.
Tourism
Not much of a tourist destination, as the Ursu people do not offer the usual vices that travellers seek, such as alcohol, gambling or diverse entertainments.
