Aza Coatli

A Tortle commoner, based on orange box turtles, who was quite young nine years ago, living in the prosperous and fortified town of Port Coatl. Then came the eclipse of the red moons, and with it came the pirates. At first it was chaos, then it seemed as if this was a gift, as gold fell from the windows of the mansions, spilled into the streets. They grabbed what they could and ran, but being tortles they ran somewhat slowly. But then, something changed, a horrible wail echoed through the city and then the blood began to fall like rain, began to fill the streets, fire everywhere, and when the dust all settled, young Aza was alone in this world, huddled in the ashes of a town now given over to murderous cutthroats and thieves. In the attack, Aza was badly burned.
They left, and found respite in the embers of the Bloodfire. They dedicated themself to her, in the hopes that her fury would burn for justice, for revenge, for recompense. None seemed to come, but Aza learned that the gods help those who help themselves. So they set out, hoping to confront this Leviathan that had emerged like a titan from within the shores of their home, to force her to speak the names of their parents; Uni Coatli, Orlyn Coatli. What they would do next, how they would accomplish this, they had no idea.
But on their journeys they met Callisto Astoria and joined forces to search out and destroy the Leviathan for once and for all.
