The Alliance traces it's origins back to the first era of exploration, when european states founded it while exploring the galaxy. Other nations joined considerably later.

Religion

Inside the ATF religion is not very popular with 92 % of the population being atheist. The other 8 % are a mixture of believers of the void and the classic terrestric religions.
