The Tome of the Pantheon

Also known as simply "the Tome".
Contains the belief system and practices of the Pantheon of the Nine Deities at large, and then a Chapter for each Church containing its tenets and assorted writings of its early followers.

Anyone in power in the Church would know their Chapter and the Chapter of the Pantheon inside and out. Followers are less likely to be well-versed unless they're extremely devout; instead they probably know the tenets of their faith, names of some of the writers in their chapter, and maybe a few key phrases (similar to how many christians know the bible).
