Day of the Pines

Day of the Pines is a holiday commemorating the finding of a new seed that survived the great event.
It occurs on the 25th day of the last (6th) month.
On this day people decorate the pine trees with lovely glass orbs which glow various colors.
Citizens give one another gifts by hiding them around the house for one another to find. The first Pinecone was found hidden away in a crack between rocks.
There's also a lot of pine-related food and drink including bags of sweet roasted pine nuts and a warm uplifting tea made from the needles.
