Lucelle Étienne
The Fallen Star Lucelle Louise Étienne (a.k.a. Lucy)
Born to Dosią Étienne and Charles Étienne, Lucelle later went on to live with her aunt, Charlotte Étienne at the age of 6 after the death of her parents. Unbeknownst to her, her mother was a Fallen Star, which means Lucelle has star magic in her blood. However, prior to the beginning of A Star's Fall, Lucelle lived a fairly normal life, attending high school and living with her motherly aunt.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Lucelle was diagnosed with a mysterious "illness" at age seven, shortly after she began living with her Aunt Charlotte. Because of it, she often experiences fatigue when exerting herself, which can lead to fainting, blurred vision, and nausea. Less often, it can cause her to feel sharp pain throughout her body. On multiple occasions, her "illness" has left her bedridden.
While no one knows the cause of her "illness", it turns out that it's caused by the suppression of her magic, which she has due to being half-Star. If a fallen star doesn't use her magic, she will supernova.
Identifying Characteristics
She is often identified for her height, and the odd combination of her dark skin tone and naturally golden hair. If you were to look closely at her, it might also appear that her ears are pointed.
Special abilities
Since Lucelle's mother was a fallen Star, Lucelle has fire magic, similar to that of a pyromagie. Her star magic allows her to manipulate, conjure, and control fire/plasma. Because she is (by heritage) a red giant star, her fire magic will always appear red, yellow, and/or orange.
Apparel & Accessories
On schooldays, Lucelle wears her high school uniform. It consists of a smoky-blue, sleeveless dress over a white, collared blouse and a red tie. She wears black flats and tall white socks with her uniform. Lucelle always wears the earrings given to her by her mother before she died.
Lucelle also carries with her a backpack, which has normal school supplies in it, along with song pain medication in case her "illness" acts up at school.

Personal history
Lucelle lived in Aviellers, France with her parents, Charles Étienne and Dosią Étienne until the age of six, when both of them were killed. She was delivered to her aunt, Charlotte Étienne by Solomon Linville, where she spent the next ten years of her life.
Around the age of seven, Lucelle began to develop the first symptoms of her "illness", and in years since, her health progressively gets worse. At the beginning of A Star's Fall, Lucelle is enrolled in classes at Madame Caron’s Academy for Promising Young Girls.

Due to her witnessing her parents' death when she was only six years old, Lucelle was left traumatized. However, after being relocated and put into the custody of her aunt, Charlotte Étienne, Lucelle's mind blocked the memories of her parents from her mind, as they were too traumatic to remember.

Because of this, she doesn't have any friends, though that is also due in part because others think her odd for having her "illness" that causes her to miss school often. Despite this, Lucelle does care deeply about people and wants those she loves, such as Charlotte Étienne to be happy. Lucelle is generally very courteous to others, but might be led to act differently when angry.

Due to her social awkwardness, Lucelle often uses "umms" and "errs" and tends to talk in a small voice. She often assures her aunt, "I'm fine"; "it's fine".
Relationships
History
Lucelle was put into the custody of Charlotte after her parents' deaths when Lucelle was six. Ever since then, Charlotte has cared for Lucelle as if she were her own daughter. However, both end up withholding information from each other. Charlotte hides the fact that Lucelles mother, Dosią Étienne, was a Star, and Lucelle hides that she knows this when she figures it out. Though Lucelle loves Charlotte with all her heart, she sometimes goes against her aunt's advice.

Since Dosią is dead, no one sees what Dosią thought of Lucelle, but Aunt Charlotte's perception of it is that Dosią didn't care for Lucelle (which is actually very inaccurate).
