These medium size ships are often manned by smaller crews of up to 10 people. These ships do have a lower deck that can be outfitted to accommodate the transport of goods or people.

Brigs are by far the most common type of ship in civil use. They serve as the backbone of the vast trade networks transporting goods inside systems. Due to their abundance and mass production, these are often cheap enough to be afforded by individual people. As such Brigs are often customized for a variety of different purposes.
