Noble Profession L2

Noble Profession L2 (2nd Class) is the First rank of Noble Professions. It includes six paths:

• Mercatrix A:L2 Magistra
• Mastery over their chosen art or craft
• Plan major infrastructure projects
• Can open school which offers Novice to L4 Certification
• Mercatrix E:L2 Maga Suprema
• Full adept at metaphysical sciences
• Recognized as High Priests of their deity
• Allowed to open a school which offers Novice to L4 Certification
• Allowed to operate Apothecaries
• Gladia A:L2 Centuria
• Seargents, detectives, and leaders of armies
• Head of Relief Armies, Disaster Medical Care
• Deputees of Domina Equites
• Gladi E:L2 Drago
• Auxillary or calvary units
• In charge of Wild Camps
• Advisors for Expansion/Expedition
• Acolyta A:L2 Haemotologa
• Blood surgeons
• Can perform initatory and purgative procedures on blood
• Recognized as priests or clergy members
• They are allowed to operate their own clinics
• Acolyta E:L2 Chiruga
• Qualified as surgeons and able to open the body
• They are allowed to operate hospitals or healing temples

What are the qualifications for a rank or title?

• You can start training for L2 anytime after receiving L3
• Membership to a Guild or Union of Lithomancy under the Five Noble Elements as an L3
• To be eligible for Training for Renewal, must pass Requirements for Marriage Tests
• Requirements of Marriage can take anywhere from nine months to years
• Having completed Training for Renewal (3-6 months) with a Mentor of L1 rank
• Medical Clearance from L2 Medic

What are the requirements and responsibilities?

• Be in Good Standing with a Guild or Union of Lithomancy
• Note that "Good Standing" means having not been chemically sterilized by a guild for leaving.
• Few survive re-fertilization, but those who do can appeal and their rank will be reinstated
• Your right to judicial protection is revoked if you are not employed with a Noble Business at the time of committing a crime
• Pass the Requirements for Marriage

How is the rank granted?

• It is granted through a marriage ceremony
• A member of the Immutable Council of Noble Professions must approve the ceremony
• An Acolyta of L3 or Higher, or a Maga, must be present at the renewal to verify it was a success

What are the benefits of the rank?

• Access to more advanced magic and metaphysical knowledge
• Better employment opportunities, including both social standing and financial compensation
• Higher status in a Union or Guild, which come with many supports and benefits
• These ranks can typically hold more specialized jobs such as surgeons and can be extremely influential
