Kubeleya

The Kubeleya are a confederation of Millenakos widespread around the Island, many of whom do not have communication with one another but share similar cultural and religious practices. They are known for their worship of Khelekeras, a deity who may have been a Godsibb at one point.

Who are they and what do they look like?

• Flesh coloured skin ranging from pale to dark, greyish copper undertones
• Prone to rosaecea, sun damage, and pallor
• Their hair ranges from pale blonde to dark brown
• Some tribes have silvery or blue-black pigments as well
• Pale eyes, often blue, green, or hazel

What are their senses or perceptions?

• Excellent eyesight, some have evolved night vision
• Evolved sense of smell and taste
• Resistance to a lot of toxicities that plague other species

Where are they in your setting?

• Everywhere, though unlike the Gannwyll Gwydd they don't always communicate with each other
• This is part of why they are considered to predate the Henoset
• In the South, the largest group was known as the Sulyafuj as well as the Atraxida
• There is a large population around the Cadmia Mountains, which seems to be one of their main industries
• Many tribes live there, including Dolomedes, Phoneutria, Latrodectes, Amblysi, and Agriopa
• In the North there is the Lycosidae

How do they survive in their environment?

• They are excellent hunters and foragers
• Also excellent with took making and getting by with low technology
• Extremely adaptable, well-trained in combat and guerilla warfare
• Although tribal societies, will often very easily unite into larger coalitions if threatened
• They are proficient with a lot of the Heavy Metal magic, such as a arsenic and lead

What is their general attitude?

• Large focus on community/family due to semi-nomadic tendencies
• Hospitable but insular when it comes to accepting newcomers
• Particularly focused on hunting/foraging and metalwork, very few of them are in agriculture or farming
• A lot of them end up as auxillaries or guards for more sedentary species

How do they feel about the other peoples?

• They have a long standing issue with the Gannwyll Gwydd, who they are often hostile with
• The Latrodectes and to an extent, the other tribes of the Attercop Cromlech, are probably the closest to sympathetic with them
• Due to their conflicts with the Gannwyll, they tend to be more sympathetic to other 'others', particularly if they have a hunting or warrior culture
• The Phoneutria and Lycosidae, for example, are friendly with the Glendatis
• The Atraxida and Sulyafuj later become associated with the Henoset post-collapse
• The Dolomedes have decent relations with the Myacoris tribes near the borderlands
• Completely a toss up when it comes to the Vespula, but typically there is a lot of hostility and competitiveness unless they're under a common
