Henoset Empire

The Henoset Empire was a collection of territories on the Island of Woad ruled by the Henoset people, who originated as a species in Sealtland and spread as far north as Sinderfall. The Gannwyll Gwydd culture that emerged in the latter centuries of the Empire would eventually be its downfall, destabilizing the ruling class and overtaking the state religion with organized, widespread adherence to their Flint deity, Bel.

A brief description:

• Organized in provinces/states, much of which are still in use post-collapse
• Ruled and administered by the Henoset people who were masters of merging Flint and Rock Oil technology
• Most prosperous areas were Sealtland and Eskern

Their public agenda (purpose, mission, aims)

• Civilization Anew, encouraging biodiversity
• Their Empire resolved a population crisis/genetic bottleneck that almost caused an extinction
• Thus they professed they could not only save the island but find the land beyond (claiming it was their original home)

Describe their visuals (flag, motto, uniform)

• They wear a lot of black, and dark colours reminiscent of oil are most common
• Their uniforms are generally more intricate and armored against harsh weathers, and they burn clean due to being synthetic
• Most Heno have a pendant to represent their original "form" and with magic they can alter their armour and outfits, though this isn't an easy thing to master
• For this they basically have to create a pattern for 3D printing or casting, but it can help when travelling

Their secret agenda (if they have one)

• It is thought the secret agenda is coded in their DNA but no one can figure out where they came from or why with present access to technology
