Atelier Benjoin Karkebi
Atelier Benjoin Karkebi, otherwise known as Atelier Benjoin Karkebi, is one of the oldest Citron Monasteries and Academies. It was a major religious centre for the deities Vindos and Vitiris, who were syncretized with Danno and Mir during the Henoset occupation.
Eventually Vindos and Viritis would combine into Meld, who is an aspect of Bel, and become honored in the Clockmaker religion. When Benjoin was outlawed, the academy was repurposed into a museum and temple for Meld and Bel.
A brief description:
- Monastery and temple
- Magician/alchemist academy that trained all Three Classes, best known for Mercatrix and Acolyta
- In the 5th Century, the temple would be repurposed into a Clockmaker temple and museum
- Even though Amber was still allowed, they were bought out and forced to join other guilds
Their public agenda (purpose, mission, aims)
- Partnered with Forests and Wyva of Karkebi to Maintain its Balance
- Focuses on Tears of Vinos (Benjoin) and Tears of Vitiris (Amber)
- Offers B-V-D certification for Maga+ ranks
- Offers plague training
- Oldest and most Accredited school for Citron learning in Cargast
Describe their visuals (flag, motto, uniform)
- Their colors are chartreuse and acid yellow
- Their logo is a twisted ceremonial sword and a wasp, representing the Vespula
- Their official flower is the broom flower
- They mostly wear colours made with green, yellow, and ochre dye, or any kind of vegetable dye
Their secret agenda (if they have one)
- Though most of the records of Benjoin have disappeared, there are some Alrauna who apparently still know the magic and keep it alive
- The Clockmakers who took over the Temple are desperate to sanitize its origins and have even installed a shrine to St. Sheena to distract people. They tried tearing down parts of the building but they were punished for it severely due to the building itself being a Docile Wrakka of a Benjoin Tree
