Somic Shadow is a leading Dark Ambient / Noise / Power Noise / Death Industrial musician known for playing a number of gigs throughout many wellknown cluibs & bars, and private sets for those who can afford her.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Sonic Shaodw is known to appear exceptionally slender, and seems ot have absolutely no hair at all when seen. Palish smooth skin seems to cover her slender frame. Plugs for cybernetics / bionics are apparant.

Apparel & Accessories

Always dressed in tattered worn tattered clothing, Sonic Shadow loks small almost hidden within her clothing Always carrying a personalised tablet allowing her to work constantly, along with an i/o line wired constantly into her spine. This appears as a makshift belt when not in use. A bag is carried appearing ot be full of music equipment and external hard drives allowing her to store & access elements of her own music and store elements she may want for later.

Specialized Equipment

Sinoc Shadow has cybernetics built in. I/O ports & plugs are wired deep within her spinal cord and brain. This allows her quickly access sounds and music quickly, and can almost subconsiously write music & modify sounds to her external music equipment as &* when she wants. It also allows her to wire hard drives & mixing desks direly inro her nervous system.
Her ears have been modified to gain greater awareness of, and filtering of, sounds in any given environment. This though doesn't seem to work in an vacuum.
Also, her eyes have been mdified with a mix of cybernetics & bioenhancements allowing Sonic Shadow to capture snippets of visual stimuli in the form of photos and small video clips. This can be quickly dumped to her hard drives for later use, and in rare cases where she plays live, these can be dumped directly to visual players when & where available.

Personal history

Little is truly known by Sonic Shadow. What follows has been peiced together through snippets told by her herself in interviews and second hand knowledge.
She appears tp be of Asian descent, exactly where & when is unknown. No parents have ever been reported and she is known to have appeared in China, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan regularly performing pianos and synthesizers. Over time she started to add in white noise and pre-recorded sounds & voices.
No-one is sure what her original name is.
Music came early to her and her piano skills were noted along with an interest in both music production & augmentation related to music. Since a young age she has had the cybernetic plugs and hardware for producing, recording and linking with electronic music items & production hardware.
Since the age of 15 to the age of 19, Sonic Shadow disappeared and the firest handful of EPs and Albums appeared under her present moniker. Each release started getting darker and darker, taking in the sound of meta lscraping on metal, animal sounds from slaughterhouses and serial killer interviews, all chopped up and modified to make it harder what the listener is listening to at times.
These releases are usually untitled, except for the Slaughter Pig Grinder trilogy. Initially starting with the sounds of robotics running and metal-on-metal scrapings, distant sounds of slaughterhouse workers can be heard for Part I. This attracted a number of extreme music fanatics who pushed it and kept putting up messages on forums for her to play it live.
When Part II was released a year later, it shocked & delighted the fans even more and attracted more fans to her sound. Building on the sounds pf the previous Part I, it takes in the sounds of pigs being processed in a slaughterhouse, while the workers can barely be heard talking in American English at a whisper level.
A year after that, Part III was released. This came to be one of her most controversial albums, again building on discordant music with machine sounds, metal-on-metal acting as a the beat of the music, white noise now heavily modified to speed up & slow down at odd time signatures, and the sounds of pigs being slaughtered & the workers fed through processors causing heavoily disorted sounds. On top of that synths are add an addition layer making for what appears to be classical music mixed in. The album is marked by having the distorted voces of serial killers taking as the intro & the outro.
Now in the past four years, Somic Shadow has started to perform live mixing in different subgenres of extreme Industrial music, and Classical. Her ablum Harpsichord Horrors, sold in the millions globaly and many off-worlders have picked up copies carrying it to off-world colonies. Demand to see her live has increased leading to special one-off shows usually in specific concert halls, festivals and even an abbitoir.
Collecting sound bites from these gigs are starting to make it into her live set along with visuals usually of extreme religious, gore and violent contect intersected with peaceful scenes of children playing & natural scenes.

Employment

As a musician and music producer, Sonic Shadow works eclusively in this market place. Rarely carrying out remixes or producing music of others she works primarily for herself, and to have msuic eve nremixed by her is a badge of honour for any other artist.

Sonic Shadow has an ear and mind for music, allowing her to find musical patterns in her mind quickly & easily. Sight, touch, heat & cold, and other senses seem to provoke her musical mind to the maximum.
