A ritual by which a Vampire Spawn can become a Vampire Lord without the consent of their maker.
The ritual involves the spawn drinking the blood of their maker, draining them completely, speaking an incantation, and finally killing them as a blood-sacrifice to Orcus, the demon prince who first created vampires.
