Mephistopheles is the Archdevil of the Eighth Hell, Cania, and the second most powerful of the Archdevils, second only to Asmodeus.
He is a wizard of considerable scholarship, and the inventor of Hellfire.
He is famous of collecting magical artefacts, owning vast vaults of treasures in his capital, Mephistar.
