Dominion Peace Corp

The corp is a military organization following a strict code of conduct.
Explores spaces bringing peace and prospertiy to all civilizations which they encounter. If a civilization is powerful enough to resist the peace corp the attempt to peacefully co-exist.
Other civilizations remain independed of the corp, but the goal is to replace their military forces to ensure peace.
On first contact they first attempt to open negotiations to create a non-aggression pact. From there they build their relationship. Recruiting soldiers from that civilization into their ranks. Once they return the new recruits will spread peaceful mission of the corp to their home worlds.
Most recruits serve for a full live time.
The corp ensures the mental and physical health of all members.
The corp does not generally claim habitable planets. The expection is for the creation of military academy worlds, where soldiers are trained and children of soliders are raised.
Soldiers get regular shore leave either to their home world or allied planets.
They intervene in any active wars where they can play their superior technologies to suppress the conflict and force all parties to the negotation table.
In case that they encounter a class five or class six civilization they attempt to negotiation a treaty of co-existence. If these negotianstions fail the peace corp will retreat from this region in most cases. Expections are if civilization is classified as an enemy to live itself. There are only few civilizations considered as enemies of live. The Breach Invaders are one of them.

The peace corp has a very broad definition of what live is. Biological organisms, syntetic machines with autonomous programming and mineral based life forms are all protected by corp.
Class 0 or pre-interstellar civilizations are placed under a protectorate by the corp to ensure their undisturbed development to interstellar majurity. Class 1 and up civilizations are not allowed to even enter protectorate space. Violations are penalized with extraction if possible or their destruction if not.
