The Speaker's Tea Set

I like tea...but I rarely drink out of this set. I only drink out of it for public announcements. I worry that I'll break it. I use a tea set I bought from the 10 credit store while I'm at home.

When The Old Ones disappeared, they left a lot of tea sets. The Dragons sorted them when they arrived at the The Station. They thought that the tea sets were important. Because all rooms had tea sets, and they were placed in the middle of the tables.
Out of the millions of sets that they found, only one set was different from the others. At first, this set was displayed. When the Dragons had learned to read, they read all the information that they could in the Library and found out that the sets were for drinking tea. They did not know who to give the tea set to, so it kept being displayed until after they had settled on their government. They decided that the special tea set should be used by The Speaker.

Description

The tea set includes a teapot, two teacups, two sauces, a sugar cup, and a creamer. This tea set differs from the others because of its pattern and color. All other tea sets are colorful and have eye-catching patterns, while this tea set is demure. It is off-white and has a single simple blue bird on all items of the set.

Origin

There has been speculation by scholars why this is the only set of its kind on The Station while there are several sets of the same kind of the others. The true reason for this tea set is that the old Captain of The Station had made it himself. The other tea sets were made in bulk by professional crafters.

This tea set sparked an interest in pottery and porcelain making for the dragons. They learned everything they could from the Library and set out to do their own tea sets. Now The Station is among the biggest exporters of tea and tea sets.
