The Old Ones

I wonder what happened to them...the people disappearing from Areu isn't so surprising. But from The Station? Apparently, it looked like people had just disappeared in the middle of dinner...

The Old Ones were the original inhabitants and creators of The Station. They belonged to a species named the Kaose native to the planet of Areu.

History

The Old Ones have written down their entire history in books and files in the Library on The Station. However, nothing is written about why they disappeared.
The Old Ones used to live on the planet of Areu and even though the planet was thriving they looked up into the vast space above them and wanted to live in it. They studied their magic for many years until they managed to build The Station. Many people from all over Areu moved to live in The Station and thus it became a very multicultural place that quickly developed its own culture.
The Old Ones didn't really view themselves as an Ethnicity. They only lived on The Station together for 21 years before they disappeared, but the Dragonsviewed them as an Ethnicity as during those 21 years many of them had children with each other.

How to spot and Old one

They were impossible to spot. They looked exactly like any other Kaose.

Tea

The dragons believed that tea was essential for the Old ones. They are not sure why because there are not many mentions of why in all the documents and files in the Library. The old ones did drink a lot of tea, and all people living on The Station had several tea sets to their name. In the beginning, the dragons wondered if the tea sets were used for bargaining, but they later learned that this was not the case. People used their tea sets, and they used different sets with different people.
