Boa Lanta, wife of the famous Alpha, Najé Lanta, likes to live a quiet life among the The Nurbotu Scarfolk in Anvil. Little known to anyone in the community, she has near-complete control of everything around her and has manipulated the world into treating the Lanta family as royalty. As an introvert, Boa loves living in the shadow of Najé’s success. She loves her dearly and has quietly used this shadow to shift things their favour, where no one else can see what she’s doing. The Lanta family name had always been mocked due to their worship of their very own macaw god and this led them to live a quiet lifestyle, keeping mostly to themselves for many years. It took everything to stop their child, Natten, from being bullied by other children (and adults) and being called a screeching macaw.The Attack
Before becoming the Alpha, Najé was the victim of a horrific rifthound attack that left her severely crippled and without an arm. When all the attention shifted on Najé from this attack, Boa tied strings on everyone she could reach to make sure everything changed for the better. In their time of need, she used her golden tongue to charm her way into persuading the highest ranking members of the community to all come together to aid her wife (making sure not to draw attention to herself in the process). Najé lost an arm, but thanks to Boa and the healers she recovered fully. Boa suggested to her that she should lead a revenge hunt on the rifthound that attacked her and this lead to her further success and title as The Alpha. Boa advises her in business negotiations, Riftguard strategies, and a great deal more. Najé loves the support from her loving wife, and is better suited to sucking up the limelight with tougher skin from her family’s rough upbringing. Boa gets to spend more time with their child Natten and make sure that they’re raised in a safe, loving, and happy environment.

I enjoyed reading this series of articles, it describes unusual and relatively unassuming characters that manage to achieve big, nonetheless. I have found what I believe is a little mistake, although I feel excessively finicky in suggesting corrections to a native speaker, "attack that left her severely crippled and her without an arm." I think the second her it isn't required there.
