Wrath of Winter's Night
Eber Frostbane generally makes it a point to avoid bloodshed, even if he is known for smacking Solaris around on occasion. He tends to handicap himself with weapons ill-suited to his actual combat nature and then insists on using one of his own construction. However, after visiting Fellhiem and learning that Kuzma: Dwarven God of the Forge, was working on something for him, he contemplated finding out what it was.
The first time he tried summoning it, he felt... nothing, as if he was reaching for a void, and so, he summoned his own staff, forged with his own mana, to avoid losing foolish.
Each subsequent attempt was met with something similar, until eventually he heard a voice, low and rumbling, like the mountains in Fellheim, "You are not yet ready. It will wait for you." After the about the 7th attempt, he opted to not bother. It wasn't as if he needed additional power in the first place, and so he put his curiosity to rest.
It wasn't until a certain incident that he found out what exactly had been waiting for him, as if he had to prove himself in some way to receive the thing.
That Ithing was a celestial weapon, a personalized weapon granted to those blessed by the gods, crafted by Kuzma himself. In Eber's hands, the magical staff, brimming with divine power, an couple with his knowledge of the arcane, became a weapon that has nearly no equal.
History
This roughly 1400-year-old weapon was forged by Kuzma: Dwarven God of the Forge, and has been sitting around in some alternate plane of existence just waiting for intended wielder to be ready to summon it. It has only seen action twice, and that's been in the last 2 years.
