Summoning Scroll

Purpose / Function

Summoning Scroll is a shop that sells magical items, and will make some on request should you have the funds for a custom order. The shop is small but is one of the original buildings of Briars Hollow.

Alterations

The building appears to be quite small and not much to it from the outside, thought from the inside that is quite different. Through a clever use of magic the inside of the summoning scroll has more space than the outside perception.

Also from the outside it is a single story building. Inside it is at least two stories tall, with a basement and an attic.

Defenses

Summoning Scroll is a businesss owned and run by one family since the founding of Briars Hollow. There are wards, and charms on the building as well as the land. And much of the things inside the building.

The building is fire resistant, how else would there be a couldron with a large fire under it. Not even magic is perfect, but the building and furniture is resistant to fire.

Someone with intent to harm or a maliscious heart, towards an occupant or owner, can't cross the threshold. There are some ways around this, as the owner(s) can override the wards.

*Note this is why Devlin couldn't enter the building in Chapter 5, while Morgue could. Even though Devlin Believes that Rosemarie would survive he still holds an intent to harm her in some way. While Morgue doesn't view it as harm but freeing her friend to another part of herself.*
