The Burning Emperor first appeared before the party in The City of Night, at a meeting of giants. There, he seemed to be rallying forces to his cause, promising the return of The Leviathan and The Tempest.
He was known to be an elemental warlord, of the likes of Isith/Jeiru.
Isatum was one of Faelyn Ar'aphine's "employers."
