Structure

The Republic of Russia is a Federal Democratic Republic. It is divided into Oblasts, each of which Has a Duma made up of representatives from each district in the oblast, each with an equal population. Each Oblast has a Governer, who is elected by the oblast population at large by popular vote. The Federal government mimics the Oblast governments on a nationwide scale. Each national district, equal in population elects 2 representatives to the Duma. The President is elected at large by popular vote.

The Duma of the Republic of Russia is comprised of 100 members, each elected in pairs from their respective districts of equal population size. The Speaker of the Duma is then elected by the Duma members. The Speaker of the Duma is a mostly ceremonial position that announces the final result of any decision that the Duma makes.

The Nationwide court of the Republic of Russia had 9 justices, each of whom is elected by popular vote after being approved by the Duma.

Executive Body

The Office of the President of the Republic of Russia is the head of the executive branch. The President is elected by direct popular vote.
