The New Red Army

The New Red Army is a rebel organization formed in the "New-Soviet" regions of Russia, created by those who rejected UFP's control and sought to restore their independence. The group emerged during the Second Russian Revolution, with the goal of establishing the New Soviet Union, a rebirth of the old Soviet ideals. It was founded and led by Viktar Kastsyukevich, a nationalist leader who rallied the most determined and militant of the New-Soviet Russians under one banner. The New Red Army was not just a small group of dissidents; it became an organized force. Its members included former soldiers, disillusioned citizens, and those who had grown tired of UFP's policies, which they saw as an attack on their identity. The group operated in the rural countryside and within the New-Soviet cities, using guerrilla tactics and sabotage to fight UFP's overwhelming military power. The New Red Army quickly gained a reputation for their boldness and brutality. They targeted UFP infrastructure, ambushed patrols, and staged raids on supply depots. Their signature red armbands and flags, reminiscent of the old Soviet symbols, became a recognizable mark of their rebellion. The group also relied heavily on the support of local communities in the New-Soviet regions, who provided them with food, shelter, and intelligence despite the risks of harsh retaliation from UFP forces. What set the New Red Army apart was their belief in their mission. They were not just fighting for independence but for the revival of what they saw as the true Russian way of life. Their vision of the New Soviet Union was one where Russian traditions, culture, and socialist ideals would thrive again, free from the influence of UFP’s globalized, Western-style governance. This belief made them fiercely loyal to their cause, even when faced with impossible odds.
