Session 16 - Grave Danger

The party discusses Rhuarc with Zane - the working theory is he was simply after the diamond and did not care about the resurrection.   Concerning the Leonids - it is unclear if they were sent by the Oracle on Tycho I. Nadalia did say they were likely in league with Socrela (one of her evil “sisters”).   Nadalia, Marliza, Inbar and Korvala will remain an Lance Rock for the time being - Nadalia is acclimating to her resurrection and does not want to travel in the near-term.   Gorn, the rescued caravan guard will travel with the party to Red Larch.   Pleasantries and gratitude are exchanged by all. Zane and the acolytes leave for Freehold. Nadalia and her tribe remain at Lance Rock. The party heads to Red Larch with Gorn.   Upon arriving in Red Larch the group first heads to the Swinging Sword.   The party receives 50gp per person for their efforts at Lance Rock. The party learns the Mirabar Delegation took a left for Belliard, traveled south out of Belliard, but did not arrive at Summit Hall. Some locals speculate it is a slight against Red Larch, others believe their intent was to travel to Summit Hall and they will eventually reach Red Larch. Either way, they are overdue.   Lane gathers and shares information with the two priests at the All-faiths shrine. The female will check in on Gorn (who was given two nights room and board at the Swinging Sword - pd by Lane).   Josef donates his 50gp back to the Swinging Sword to go to kitchen repairs.   Taraxacam goes to Galens? to get supplies and a hair cut. He is given a platinum coin that turns out to be counterfeit.   They find larmont the halfling shepard and ask about the graves. He says they are just a few days old and located at the edge of the Sumber Hills. He agrees to take them there in the morning.   The PCs set out in the evening to find the graves themselves - the wind is howling. In the area where they were told the graves would be, they encounter and defeat a pair of Wights.   Nearby the find the graves. They a confusing set of foot prints in the area (as if a fight took place). The find fired arrows, a spear, a torn grey cloak.   They can see the lighs of Red Larch back to the West and a “tower of lights” to the north in the bad lands.   The dig up one of the four graves and discover a dead human in stone armor with a distinct symbol on his armor.   The party decides to camp at the south edge of the Sumber Hills.
