The hierarchy of demons and cultists under Vugyargis The Assailant who sought to free their lord and seek vengeance on those who kept him imprisoned. The lowest levels of the multitudes endeavored to earn his favor on the day he would return. The middle and upper levels also sought his favor but also fear his retribution if they were found to have given up. Some of the highest echelons have attained power in their own right and use the organization to thwart other demons.
The destruction of Vugyardis did not spell the end for the Host. They've simply shifted their focus to the will of the leaders.
