Clandestrope

Clandestrope is the largest city-state on Acradus. It was once the seat of power and last bastion of the "pure". When it fell into the hands of the Tieflings they renamed it more to thier liking. The major centers were heavily sacked during the overthrow and it is only starting to recover structurally.
Clandestrope is divided geographically into 20 wards - each ruled by an appointed Ward-duke. The 20 Wards answer to a Wardking or Wardqueen. There is a constant scrabble for power among the Wardsman which is ripe with assinations and scandles real and contrived. Despite the power struggles, the people of Clandestrope tend to be of a very lawfull nature taking grate pride in thier laws.
The reigning Wardqueen is Shkrima Dagaul - she has been in power for six years having managed to keep the peace and escape all assassination attempts on her life. Her dealings with the outside world are seen a fair making Clandestrope one of the more "outsider" friendly locations.
